To change the way the Administration Console displays
data and locates files:
In the banner toolbar region at the top of the right
pane of the Console, click
Preferences
.
On the
User Preferences
page, do the following:
If you want the Console to display
descriptions of each screen and attribute,
select
Show Inline Help
.
To change the starting location for the
WebLogic Server file browser, in the
File Browser Start
field, enter a path, relative to the
WL_HOME
for the domain.
Set other Console preferences as you desire.
Click
Save
.
To set additional preferences, click the
Shared Preferences tab.
Note: To set shared preferences, you must
be in the Admin security role.
