Change Console preferences


To change the way the Administration Console displays data and locates files:

  1. In the banner toolbar region at the top of the right pane of the Console, click Preferences .
  2. On the User Preferences page, do the following:
    1. If you want the Console to display descriptions of each screen and attribute, select Show Inline Help .
    2. To change the starting location for the WebLogic Server file browser, in the File Browser Start field, enter a path, relative to the WL_HOME for the domain.
    3. Set other Console preferences as you desire.
    4. Click Save .
  3. To set additional preferences, click the Shared Preferences tab.

    Note: To set shared preferences, you must be in the Admin security role.
